Tutor for English Language in Greenland


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced English language tutor to join our team in Greenland. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality language instruction to students of all ages and levels. This includes creating lesson plans, monitoring student progress, and providing feedback and support to help students achieve their language learning goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students
- Provide engaging and interactive instruction in English language skills such as reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and their families
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching techniques and materials
- Stay up-to-date with current teaching methods and incorporate them into lessons
- Attend meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required
- Participate in student evaluations and parent-teacher conferences

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field (TEFL/TESOL certification preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching English as a second/foreign language
- Fluent in English (native speaker preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching style to meet the needs of different learners
- Passion for teaching and helping students achieve their language learning goals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
