We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to construct or repair metal structures and equipment. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plans to determine the layout and specifications of welding projects
- Measure and mark cutting lines on metal materials using various tools such as rulers, squares, or templates
- Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and arc welders to join metal parts together
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Repair damaged metal parts by welding on additional pieces or filling holes using appropriate techniques
- Maintain and clean welding equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety protocols and wear protective gear while working with hot metals and gases

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Welder in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficient in measuring tools such as rulers, squares, or templates
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
- Must have own welding equipment
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
