We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Bungoma, Kenya. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing our library collection and providing assistance to library patrons. This is a full-time position that offers accommodation and visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library collection by cataloging, shelving, and organizing materials
- Assist library patrons in locating resources and answering research questions
- Develop and implement programs and services to engage the community and promote literacy
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, circulation statistics, and patron information
- Stay up-to-date with current literature and trends in library science
- Collaborate with other librarians to plan and execute events and programs
- Oversee the maintenance of library equipment and facilities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage)
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with library management systems and technology
- Passion for promoting literacy and knowledge sharing

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this position.
