We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy at our hotel. You will also be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives and ensuring they meet their targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new customers and maintain existing relationships
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and create targeted marketing campaigns
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to set competitive room rates based on market demand
- Analyze sales data and trends to make informed decisions about pricing, promotions, and inventory management
- Manage a team of sales representatives, providing training and coaching as needed
- Monitor the performance of the sales team and provide regular feedback on areas for improvement
- Attend industry events and trade shows to network with potential clients and stay updated on industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales, preferably in a management role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data to inform business decisions
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
