Entry-Level Baker
As an entry-level baker, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of baked goods in our busy bakery located in Karachi. Your main duties will include measuring and mixing ingredients, preparing doughs and batters, operating baking equipment, and decorating finished products. No prior experience is required for this role as on-the-job training will be provided.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes.
- Preparing doughs, batters, fillings, and icings.
- Operating baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters.
- Assisting with the production of a variety of baked goods including breads, cakes, pastries, and pies.
- Decorating finished products with fillings, icings, toppings or other decorations.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Following all food safety guidelines and sanitation regulations.
- Communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth operation of the bakery.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and equipment is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination for precision work decorating baked goods.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
