Instrument Technician


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Khasab. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial processes and production facilities. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flow meters, and control valves
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize production downtime
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor
- Perform tests on new or repaired instruments to ensure they meet specifications
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrument technology

Requirements:
- Diploma or certificate in Instrumentation Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and techniques
- Familiarity with process control systems such as Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

Preferred:
- Experience working with biometric passports or other advanced security systems
- Proficiency in English language
