Industrial Architect - Washington, USA
An established architectural firm in Washington is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial design and architecture, with a passion for creating innovative and functional spaces. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their project goals and requirements
- Develop design concepts and present them to clients for approval
- Create detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for industrial buildings and facilities
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technology to incorporate into designs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial design or architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or other design software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Preferred:
- Experience working on industrial projects in the US market
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- LEED certification
- Ability to speak multiple languages
