Quantity Surveyor

A well-established construction company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects from initial estimates to final accounts. You will also be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, negotiating and analyzing cost proposals, and ensuring projects are completed within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost planning for new construction projects
- Preparing detailed estimates of materials, labor, and equipment costs
- Analyzing cost proposals from contractors and sub-contractors
- Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers and clients
- Managing project budgets and monitoring costs throughout the construction process
- Preparing progress reports and financial statements for stakeholders
- Identifying potential risks and providing recommendations for cost-saving measures
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, building codes, safety regulations, etc.
- Collaborating with other professionals such as architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand complex data
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software such as CostX or Buildsoft
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
