Information Security Analyst (Beer-Sheva, Israel)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Beer-Sheva, Israel. As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's sensitive information from potential cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implementing security protocols to safeguard against potential attacks. You will also be responsible for monitoring network activity, identifying and responding to security breaches, and providing recommendations for improving our overall security posture.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of network security protocols and tools, as well as experience with risk assessment and incident response procedures. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and assess risks
- Implement effective security measures to protect against potential cyber attacks
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Investigate and respond to security breaches or incidents
- Collaborate with other teams to define and implement company-wide security policies
- Stay informed about the latest cyber threats and recommend strategies for prevention
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for employees on information security best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience working as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (e.g. VPNs, firewalls) and tools (e.g. SIEM)
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools (e.g. Nessus) and risk assessment procedures
- Familiarity with incident response procedures and forensic investigations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of Israeli data privacy laws and regulations is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred
We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position. This is a full-time role based in Beer-Sheva, Israel.
