Hotel Sales Manager - Nakuru, Kenya
Our 5-star luxury hotel in Nakuru, Kenya is seeking an experienced and driven Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue and increase occupancy rates. You will also be responsible for managing a team of sales executives and coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Manage a team of sales executives and provide leadership, training, and support
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to make recommendations for pricing and promotional strategies
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management meetings
- Participate in industry events to network and promote the hotel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership abilities
- Knowledge of market trends and competitor activities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
