Blast Furnace Operator


We are hiring a skilled Blast Furnace Operator for our steel manufacturing company in Eldoret. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace to produce molten iron for steel production. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a blast furnace, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the blast furnace to ensure smooth operation and production of molten iron.
- Adjust equipment settings and control temperatures to maintain optimal conditions.
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to identify any issues or abnormalities.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any mechanical problems.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure proper handling of materials.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate activities and maintain efficient production flow.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a blast furnace operator.
- Knowledge of blast furnace operations, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a hot environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Salary:
$1100 per month
