Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Ar-Ruwais, Canada. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of delicious pastries, desserts, and other baked goods. Your role will involve working closely with the head chef to develop new menu items, ensuring the quality and consistency of all pastry dishes, and managing inventory and ordering supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods according to recipes
- Collaborating with the head chef to develop new menu items
- Ensuring the quality and consistency of all pastry dishes
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station
- Training and supervising junior pastry chefs or assistants
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Pastry Chef in a high volume restaurant or bakery setting
- Formal culinary training or certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of different baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
- Attention to detail and creativity in presenting dishes
- Ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff members
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Ar-Ruwais, Canada (open to candidates from any nationality)
Language Requirement: Fluent English preferred but not required
