Machine Learning Engineer

A machine learning engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing machine learning models and algorithms. They work with large datasets to identify patterns and create predictive models that can be used for various applications. This role requires a strong understanding of machine learning techniques and programming languages such as Python and R.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms
- Collaborate with data scientists to understand business requirements and use cases
- Clean and preprocess large datasets for analysis
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and insights
- Implement feature engineering techniques to improve model performance
- Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics
- Optimize models for scalability, accuracy, and efficiency
- Stay updated on latest developments in the field of machine learning

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Contract job: This role is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. The contract may be extended based on performance.

Experience: No prior experience is required for this position. However, familiarity with the fundamentals of machine learning is preferred.
