Head Chef - Arabic Cuisine (Egyptian Nationality)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef who specializes in Arabic cuisine to join our team in Sharjah. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and updating menus, training and managing kitchen staff, and ensuring food quality and hygiene standards are met. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1000$.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create innovative menus that showcase authentic Egyptian flavors
- Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high-quality food production
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and timely service
- Monitor inventory levels of food ingredients and equipment to avoid shortages
- Maintain proper sanitation practices in the kitchen area according to health codes
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes or special menus for events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef specializing in Arabic cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian culinary traditions, techniques, and ingredients
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a diverse team
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of food safety regulations
- Fluent in English (Arabic language skills preferred)
