Sous Chef - International Cuisine
We are a renowned international restaurant located in the bustling city of Sharjah. We are in search of a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team and assist our Head Chef in creating delicious dishes from various international cuisines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation for the restaurant
- Prepare and cook dishes from different international cuisines, ensuring high quality and consistency
- Train, supervise, and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory and ensure timely ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- In-depth knowledge of various international cuisines, including Asian, European, Middle Eastern, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate junior staff
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with both kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1300$ per month for this position.

Our restaurant is located in the vibrant city of Sharjah. We welcome candidates from all nationalities who have a valid work permit for Sharjah.
