Slinger Supervisor

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Slinger Supervisor to oversee and manage our team of slingers in Nakuru, Kenya. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all slinging activities on our job sites. As a Slinger Supervisor, you will work closely with our project managers to plan, organize, and delegate tasks to your team of slingers. You must have previous experience as a slinger and demonstrate strong leadership skills to effectively train and supervise your team. This is a contract job with a salary of 1400$ per month, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of slingers to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Plan and coordinate daily tasks for the slinging team
- Train new team members on proper slinging techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary materials
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed
- Communicate with project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Enforce safety protocols on job sites at all times
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues or concerns
- Provide feedback on performance to management

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a slinger in a construction or industrial setting
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for slinging operations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed
