Restaurant Manager - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager who specializes in Indian Cuisine to join our team in Los Angeles. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Indian restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality food and service, and maintaining financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Train, supervise, and schedule staff members to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant
- Create and maintain a positive work environment for all employees
- Ensure high-quality food is consistently prepared and served according to recipes and standards
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers
- Monitor financial performance and make adjustments as needed to meet budget targets
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the restaurant
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in an Indian restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control strategies
- Understanding of marketing principles for restaurants
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
