We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Lahore. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and laying out text and images for printed and digital materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. You will work closely with editors, designers, and production staff to ensure that all materials are visually appealing and error-free.

Key Responsibilities:
- Format text and images according to design specifications using desktop publishing software
- Proofread materials for accuracy and consistency
- Create templates for consistent layout of materials
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and production staff to ensure high-quality final products
- Meet strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in typesetting

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in desktop publishing software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography, layout principles, and design techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text and images
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Prior experience in the publishing industry is preferred

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Lahore, Pakistan (accommodation provided if needed)

Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
