Database Administrator (Contract Position) - Siauliai, Lithuania

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team in Siauliai for a contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, performance, and availability. The ideal candidate will have experience working with database management systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure data integrity and security through regular backups and maintenance
- Develop database procedures and protocols for data access and security
- Collaborate with developers to optimize database structures and query efficiency
- Upgrade databases to newer versions as needed
- Provide technical support for database-related issues
- Document processes and procedures related to database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of SQL and other database languages
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server databases
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members
- Excellent communication skills in English

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of 1,200 USD per month. Accommodation will not be provided.
