Collections Agent



We are currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Collections Agent to join our team in Nakuru. As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for contacting individuals who have outstanding debts and persuading them to make payments. This position is suitable for men and does not require proficiency in English.

Responsibilities:
- Contact individuals with overdue debt through phone calls and/or emails
- Negotiate payment plans and follow-up on agreed upon payment dates
- Keep detailed records of all communication with debtors
- Work towards meeting collection targets set by the company
- Report any issues or concerns to the Collections Manager
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when communicating with debtors

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Proven experience as a Collections Agent or similar role
- Knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry

Salary:
This is a contract job with a salary of 1700$. Accommodation will not be provided.
