Machine Operator - Svalbard

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery in a production or manufacturing setting. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in machine operation and be able to work independently. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machinery to ensure safe and efficient production
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Keep detailed records of production output and equipment maintenance

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of machinery and their functions
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit to handle repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time

Location: We are located in Svalbard, an archipelago situated between Norway and the North Pole. While Norwegian nationality is preferred, we welcome applications from all nationalities.
