Long Haul Truck Driver

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances in a safe and timely manner. You will operate and maintain a large commercial truck, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times. This role requires a valid commercial driver's license and previous experience in long haul truck driving.

Responsibilities:
- Transport goods and materials over long distances in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain a large commercial truck, including conducting pre-trip inspections, refueling, and minor repairs.
- Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers via radio or phone.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and cargo information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Follow all state and federal regulations for the transportation of hazardous materials.

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a long haul truck driver.
- Ability to operate large commercial trucks safely in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and customers.
- Proficient in navigating using GPS devices or maps.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations for the transportation of goods.

Salary: $1000 per week (without accommodation)
