Pastry Chef
Location: St. Petersburg, Russia
We are in search of a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in St. Petersburg, Russia. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries for our restaurant. Your main duties will include preparing ingredients, baking and decorating pastries, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, managing inventory, and ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
- Knowledge of various baking techniques and pastry decoration
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail and creativity in dessert presentation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for pastry dishes according to recipes or instructions provided by the Head Chef
- Bake pastries, cakes, breads, and other desserts using various techniques and equipment
- Decorate pastries with icing, fruits, chocolate pieces or other toppings as per menu specifications
- Ensure all desserts are presented in an appealing manner before being served to customers
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards at all times
- Manage inventory of pastry supplies and place orders when necessary
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new pastry items for the menu
- Train junior staff members on proper pastry techniques
- Uphold high-quality standards in taste, appearance and overall customer satisfaction
Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
