Junior Formworker

As a Junior Formworker, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and installation of formwork structures for concrete foundations, walls, and columns. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials, assembling formwork components, and using hand and power tools to secure formwork in place. You will also be required to assist with pouring and finishing concrete, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong work ethic, excellent physical stamina, and the ability to work well in a team. While previous experience is not required, candidates with prior construction or carpentry experience will be given preference. As this position involves working at heights and heavy lifting, it is important that you are comfortable with physically demanding tasks.

This is a full-time position based in Funchal, where you will work alongside experienced Formworkers to learn the trade and develop your skills. The salary for this role starts at 1300$ per month. As this is an entry-level position, we do not provide accommodation or assist with obtaining visas. Therefore, it is preferred that candidates already have their own visa to work in Funchal.
