Junior Pastry Chef


We are hiring a talented and creative Junior Pastry Chef to join our team in Porto, Portugal. As a Junior Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods. We are looking for someone who is passionate about pastry making and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of various types of pastries, cakes, breads, and other desserts
- Follow recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and presentation of all products
- Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to create new menu items and improve existing recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen at all times
- Monitor ingredient inventory and place orders as needed
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or Assistant Pastry Chef
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creativity and passion for creating unique pastries and desserts
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Porto, Portugal. Preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in or willing to relocate to Porto.
