DevOps Developer
Location: Svalbard, Norway
We are in search of a talented DevOps Developer to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in software development, as well as expertise in the field of DevOps and automation. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the build and release processes of our software applications, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement automated build processes for multiple software applications.
- Work closely with software development teams to ensure smooth integration of code into build and release pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the build process.
- Continuously improve the efficiency and reliability of our build and release processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and implement solutions.
- Maintain documentation for build processes and configurations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in software development with at least 2 years focused on DevOps or automation.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
