Hotel Maintenance Engineer


We are in search of a skilled and experienced Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our luxury hotel in Al-Rayyan. As a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all equipment and facilities within the hotel. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of all equipment and facilities, identifying any issues or potential problems
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule
- Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, making necessary repairs or replacements
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities and reports any major repairs or replacements needed to management
- Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs or installations when necessary
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while carrying out maintenance tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a hotel setting or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and other mechanical systems commonly found in hotels
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects when necessary
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
