Dishwasher - Indian Cuisine (Contract)


A busy Indian restaurant in Sharjah is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team on a contract basis. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using the dishwasher or by hand
- Sort and stack clean dishes in designated areas
- Ensure that all dishes and utensils are cleaned thoroughly and sanitized properly
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwasher machine and surrounding area
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Follow all health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and stand for extended periods of time
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
