Merchandising Specialist - Ajman, UAE
We are seeking a skilled Merchandising Specialist to join our team in Ajman, UAE. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and executing merchandising strategies to promote our products and increase sales. This is a contract job with a salary of 1600$ per month, free visa and ticket provided.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective merchandising plans based on market trends and customer preferences
- Work closely with the product development team to ensure timely delivery of new products
- Conduct market research to identify new trends and opportunities
- Analyze sales data and make recommendations for product assortment and placement
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure proper execution of merchandising plans at retail locations
- Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments as needed
- Negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing on merchandise
- Train retail staff on product features, benefits, and selling techniques
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of merchandising principles and best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Preference will be given to African candidates for this position. English language skills are not required but would be considered an asset.
