Merchandising Assistant (Ajman, UAE)


We are a leading retail company in Ajman, UAE and we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandising Assistant to join our team. As a Merchandising Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising team in all aspects of product selection, placement, and presentation. This is an entry-level position suitable for English speaking candidates without experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the merchandising team in product selection and placement in stores
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Maintain accurate records of sales and inventory data
- Monitor competitor activity and make recommendations for improvements
- Communicate with store managers to ensure proper product display and placement
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotional strategies
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and preferences

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business or marketing is a plus
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of retail merchandising practices is preferred but not required

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Ajman, UAE.
