Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a well-established restaurant in El-Ain, known for its delicious Indian cuisine. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus, managing kitchen staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in all aspects of food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating presentation
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new dishes and promotional events
- Ensure timely delivery of food orders while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine including regional variations, spices, ingredients, cooking techniques, etc.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills (English is required)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays if needed
We offer a competitive salary of 900$ per month plus tips. This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance.
