Sous Chef
We are in search of a skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at our high-end restaurant in Hawalli. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the head chef to oversee the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality and consistency according to company standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Diploma or degree in culinary arts preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Salary: 1100$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Hawalli, Kuwait (open to Nepali candidates or foreigners with valid work permit)
