Instrument Technician - Contract Job in Muscat

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team in Muscat on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in industrial settings. As an Instrument Technician, you must have strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to ensure all equipment is functioning properly.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot various instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors, etc.
- Conduct routine maintenance on instruments and control systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair any malfunctions or breakdowns in equipment
- Interpret technical manuals and drawings to carry out installations and repairs
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify and implement improvements for instrument systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and any issues encountered
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working with hazardous materials and electrical components

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Technical degree or certification in instrumentation or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles, electrical circuits, and control systems
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Familiarity with industry safety standards
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills
- Physically fit to perform tasks as required
