Merchandiser Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Merchandiser Assistant to join our team in Nizwa, Pakistan. As a Merchandiser Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Merchandiser in planning, coordinating, and executing merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Merchandiser in developing and implementing merchandising plans based on market trends and customer needs
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate prices
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure proper placement and display of merchandise in stores
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
- Conduct regular store visits to assess product availability, placement, and pricing
- Assist with product launches and promotions
- Keep track of sales data and provide reports to management
- Participate in market research to identify new trends and competitors

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser Assistant or similar role preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
