Executive Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious resort in Khasab. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and be able to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff. They must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end establishment and be familiar with international cuisine.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Train, manage, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure high-quality service
- Monitor food costs and maintain inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Create new dishes and menus that reflect current food trends
- Collaborate with other departments to plan special events and cater to guest requests
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or resort setting
- Excellent knowledge of international cuisine and current food trends
- Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Thorough understanding of sanitation regulations and safety protocols
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop unique dishes that will appeal to guests' palates
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English is preferred
Salary: $1100 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Khasab, Oman (accommodation provided for foreign candidates)
