Librarian
A reputable library in Al Buraymi is seeking a skilled Librarian to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for literature and a strong desire to help others access information and resources. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month, and accommodation will be provided.
As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, assisting patrons in finding materials, and organizing events and programs. You will also be in charge of maintaining the library's catalog system and ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and shelved.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, as well as strong organizational and multitasking abilities. A degree in Library Science or a related field is preferred but not required; however, previous experience working in a library or similar environment is highly desirable.
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented and has an eye for accuracy. You must be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with library software systems is also beneficial.
As this position involves interacting with the public on a daily basis, fluency in English is essential. Being able to communicate effectively with Indian patrons is also highly desirable.
