Librarian (Indian Nationals)



We are currently seeking a highly experienced and qualified Librarian to join our team in Al Buraymi. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, as well as providing research assistance to library patrons. This is a part-time position with a salary of $1800 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the library collection, including cataloging materials and creating an efficient system for locating resources.
- Assist patrons with finding and accessing information, including conducting reference interviews and providing research guidance.
- Develop and implement programs and activities to promote literacy and encourage library usage.
- Train and supervise library staff members, ensuring high-quality customer service at all times.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in order to enhance the library’s resources.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Librarian in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of library systems, cataloging procedures, and reference tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
