Survey Technician


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Survey Technician to join our team in Clairvaux. As a Survey Technician, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to assist in land surveying projects. This is a contract position with a monthly salary of $1300.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys using various instruments such as total stations and GPS
- Collect and analyze data to create accurate maps and drawings
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents related to land surveying
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure project goals are met
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working on site

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Survey Technician or related field
- Knowledge of land surveying principles, methods, and equipment
- Proficiency in using total stations, GPS, and other surveying tools
- Ability to interpret maps, drawings, and legal documents related to land surveying
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification or license as a Land Surveyor or Survey Technician
- Experience working on construction sites or with contractors
- Knowledge of CAD software for creating maps and drawings
