Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team in Dickirch. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the pastry department, from recipe development to production and presentation. Your main goal will be to create delicious and visually appealing pastries that will delight our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and unique pastry recipes that align with our menu offerings.
- Supervise and train a team of pastry chefs, ensuring high quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
- Oversee production schedules to ensure timely delivery of pastries.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to create special event menus.
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or similar role.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification in Pastry Arts.
- Excellent knowledge of ingredients, recipes, baking techniques, and food presentation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new ideas for pastries.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
- Good understanding of food cost control procedures.
- Proficient in English (Indian nationality is preferred).
Salary: $1000 per month.
