Preservation Architect - Remish, India


We are in search of a highly skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Remish, India. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical and cultural buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients, government agencies, and other professionals to ensure that the integrity and character of these buildings are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough surveys and assessments of historical buildings to determine their condition and preservation needs
- Developing preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects
- Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation work
- Managing preservation projects from start to finish, including overseeing construction work
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure compliance with preservation standards
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from government agencies for restoration projects
- Conducting research on historical buildings' architectural styles, materials, and construction techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in preservation architecture or historic building restoration
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Strong understanding of architectural history, styles, materials, and construction techniques
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software
- Excellent communication skills
