Pastry Chef - Plovdiv, Bulgaria


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts for our customers. You will work closely with our head chef to develop new recipes and ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and creativity in designing desserts that will leave a lasting impression on our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of pastries, cakes, and other desserts according to menu specifications
- Decorate and present pastries in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- Develop new dessert recipes while staying within budget constraints
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety standards are followed in the preparation and storage of pastries
- Train and supervise pastry assistants to maintain high-quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift at least 25 pounds

Salary:
$1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
