Typesetter

A typesetter is responsible for setting and arranging text, images, and graphics into a visually appealing and readable format. They work closely with editors, designers, and publishers to ensure that the final product meets quality standards. The ideal candidate for this position should have a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Typeset text, images, and graphics for various publications such as books, magazines, newspapers
- Collaborate with editors and designers to ensure the final product meets design and layout specifications
- Proofread and make necessary corrections to ensure accuracy of text
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing throughout the publication
- Make adjustments as necessary to fit text within allocated space
- Communicate effectively with team members to meet production deadlines
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in typesetting software

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong understanding of typography principles
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills

Salary: 1100$ per month
Location: Chelyabinsk (open to Nepali candidates)
