Junior Accountant - Acre, Israel



We are hiring a Junior Accountant to join our fast-paced and dynamic accounting team in the beautiful city of Acre, Israel. This is a contract position with a starting salary of 1500$. We welcome candidates of any nationality, and no prior experience or knowledge of English is required for this role.

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accurate records of transactions, and performing basic accounting tasks. You will work closely with our senior accountants and receive on-the-job training to develop your skills and knowledge in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks such as data entry and record keeping.
- Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of accounting software is a plus).
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills (fluency in English is not required).
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
