Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Beer-Sheva. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving any database-related issues, as well as implementing new database solutions to meet the changing needs of our organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our company's databases, including monitoring performance and security
- Troubleshoot and resolve any database-related issues
- Implement new database solutions to meet the changing needs of our organization
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth integration of databases with other systems
- Develop and implement backup and recovery plans
- Optimize database performance through regular maintenance and tuning
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments related to databases

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of database management systems (DBMS), SQL, and data manipulation languages (DML)
- Experience with database design, optimization, backup and recovery procedures
- Familiarity with data security best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with others
- Excellent communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Beer-Sheva. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
