Indian Executive Chef in Siauliai, Lithuania
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Siauliai, Lithuania. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Create and implement menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen workers
- Monitor food production to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Collaborate with restaurant managers to develop new dishes and improve existing ones
- Develop relationships with local suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create innovative dishes while also maintaining traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in menu planning, budgeting, food cost control, and inventory management
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Lithuanian is a plus
Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 900$ per month for this contract position.
