Data Mining Analyst



As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can be used to improve business strategies and decision making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in data mining tools and techniques. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing large datasets from various sources
- Using advanced data mining techniques to identify patterns and relationships within the data
- Analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and insights
- Developing reports, visualizations, and dashboards to present findings
- Collaborating with team members to understand business needs and provide relevant insights
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement using data analysis
- Communicating findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
- Proven experience in data mining or related field
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python or other programming languages used for data analysis
- Familiarity with statistical methods such as regression analysis, clustering techniques, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze large datasets
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Salary: $1500/month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Washington DC (open to candidates from any nationality)

Employment Type: Part-time (20 hours/week) with possibility of full-time in the future.
