Fitter - Washington Contract Job

A leading company in Washington is seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team on a contract basis. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various mechanical components and systems according to specifications. This role requires someone with strong technical knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Use hand and power tools to cut, drill, and shape parts
- Assemble and install mechanical components such as pipes, valves, fittings, etc.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Knowledge of different welding techniques is preferred
- Familiarity with various hand tools and equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical dexterity for working with small parts in tight spaces

This is a contract position with an hourly rate of 1000$. We are open to candidates of any nationality who have their own visa. Accommodation will not be provided, so we prefer candidates who are already based in Washington or have their own housing arrangements. This job does not require English proficiency.
