Job Title: Skilled Carpenter


We are a construction company based in Atlanta, seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will also be required to read and interpret blueprints, follow building codes and safety regulations, and work with a variety of hand and power tools.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenter
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using various hand and power tools
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials required for construction projects
- Measure, cut, shape, join and install materials made of wood, plywood, wallboard or other materials according to specifications
- Follow building codes and safety regulations at all times while on the job site
- Ensure that all projects are completed within the given timeline and budget
- Inspect structures to determine if repairs or maintenance is required
- Maintain tools in good working condition and report any faulty equipment to the supervisor
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.

Location:
This position is based in Atlanta but we welcome applications from all nationalities. Visa sponsorship will be provided for qualified candidates.
