Hotel Sales Manager (Indian Preferred) in Mombasa


Our luxury hotel in Mombasa is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue and occupancy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue and occupancy goals
- Identify potential new business opportunities and establish relationships with key clients
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the hotel
- Conduct market research to identify target markets and adapt sales strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and revenue management to ensure synergy in sales efforts
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and presentations for potential clients
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to make strategic recommendations
- Train and motivate the sales team to achieve targets and provide exceptional customer service

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients from different cultures
and backgrounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indian languages is an advantage
