Hotel Sales Manager - Mombasa, Kenya

As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase hotel revenue and occupancy. You will work closely with the hotel management team to identify target markets, create sales plans, and build relationships with potential clients. This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry and excellent communication skills to effectively promote our hotel's offerings. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in Mombasa or a similar coastal city. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is preferred. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to attract new business
- Identify and target potential clients through market research
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the hotel
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential sources of business
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Monitor sales performance against goals and adjust strategies as needed
- Prepare reports on sales activity, revenue, and market trends for management review

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel sales or related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with clients
- Knowledge of Mombasa's hospitality industry preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends when necessary
